On October 1st, energy bills are predicted to rise again. On the same day the Labour Party will conclude its conference in Liverpool. But not without hearing from FPA!

This government is failing us on both the cost of living and climate crisis. They’re throwing tens of billions of pounds of our money at unproven technologies while failing to meet millions of people’s needs. Meanwhile, their cuts to winter fuel payments and PIP have caused untold suffering already.

Fuel Poverty Action’s Energy For All campaign demands that every household receives enough energy to cover its basic needs. During the windiest and sunniest periods when wind and solar energy is so cheap and abundant, it could be helping power all of our homes for free.

Join us and raise your voice as the delegates pass into the conference. Let’s demand government act on tangible solutions:

  • Stop the gas rip off by delinking the price of cheap, renewably generated electricity from the much higher cost of gas
  • Distribute excess power from the wind and sun for use by people who need it
  • Expand access to free solar generation and cheap flexible energy

Plus, your union branch can support our action: take our model motion to your branch!

Email stu@fuelpovertyaction.org.uk if you’d like to help organise the action.

We can’t wait to see you there!
