When we first announced this conference, our intention was to make it completely free to attend. As interest has grown, we have reviewed the booking process to help ensure every available place is used.
We have capacity for 100 attendees. Experience shows that free events can sometimes result in places being booked but left empty on the day. To help reduce this, we are now asking everyone booking a place to make a small booking contribution of £3.
This is not about raising funds. It is about making the best use of the places available and giving as many people as possible the opportunity to take part.
If the booking contribution would prevent you from attending, there is still a free option. We never want cost to stand in the way of participation. We will happily waive the contribution and, where appropriate, help with reasonable transport costs. If making an online payment or completing the booking process is difficult for you for any reason, again, please just get in touch!
If you are able to contribute more, you are welcome to choose a Solidarity Ticket of £5, £10 or £25. These additional contributions will help support transport costs and enable others to attend who might otherwise be unable to do so.
If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else..
