Workers For Energy For All

Workers For Energy For All (W4E4A) is Fuel Poverty Action’s trade union caucus, uniting union members in the fight for affordable energy. We know that fuel poverty hits working class communities hardest, and we’re committed to ensuring that everyone has access to affordable, sustainable energy.

Mobilising at the Grassroots

W4E4A mobilises rank-and-file trade union activists to push their unions to lead on tackling fuel poverty and climate change. By organising within their workplaces and communities, our members encourage unions to take action on these issues and advocate for systemic changes that protect workers from rising energy costs.

Linking Cost of Living to the Climate Crisis

Economic and climate justice must go hand in hand. It’s not a question of either/or. We believe that we can take on energy companies who are making extortionate profits while working families struggle to pay their bills. By pushing for a just energy transition, W4E4A fights for policies that ensure affordable energy for all while tackling the climate crisis.

Collective Action for Change

W4E4A is a space where trade unionists come together to take collective action on fuel poverty. Whether it is taking motions to congress or taking to the streets for warm up protests , we aim to build a fairer energy system that serves people, not profit. Our work is about empowering unions to be leaders in the fight for both economic and environmental justice.

The Energy Pricing Revolution

We are all entitled to energy for heating, washing, lighting, cooking, connectivity, and medical needs. Let’s get the money back from the fossil fuel giants who are profiting from our unpayable bills!
